Auch als spekulative Wertanlage eignen sich diese Wafer (in 10, 20 Jahren dürften die Preise wesentlich höher liegen), zumal die Lagerung, Aufgrund der Größe der Wafer einfach ist (ohne Gewähr)

Silizium Wafer sind glasähnlich und brechen sehr leicht bei Verbiegung oder Fall.

Öffnen Sie bitte das Packet vorsichtig. Verbiegen Sie die Verpackung bei der Eröffnung nicht.
Ein 10 bis 100-Fach Mikroskop eignet sich gut zum Betrachten.
Die Wafer werden gut verpackt gesendet, mich ärgert es auch, wenn etwas kaputt ankommt.

I am selling a silicon wafer from my collection.
Most of the silicon wafers offered on Ebay are wafers that have not passed quality control, i.e. rejects from the chip industry. These have defects (scratches, incorrectly exposed areas, eroded areas, etc.). In addition, there are handlings-scratches by the suppliers. For this reason I offer these wafers as "defective", because they are defective. Defects are normal with these wafers.
You will almost never find a perfect wafer from chip production on Ebay or anywhere else for private individuals. On the other hand, private individuals do not need perfect wafers, they are supposed to serve as display material and are not supposed to be cut and converted into functional chips.
In this sense, the following wafer from my collection is offered:

The information about the external condition is given as follows:
Mint (M) : Perfect wafer without visible scratches and in very good condition
(this will almost never happen)
Near Mint (NM+-) : Like Mint but with very small defects
Very good Plus (VG+) : Good wafer without deep scratches or major flaws
Good Plus (G+) : acceptable wafer, not all structures are scratched, visible defects and deformations
Good (G) : Worse than (G+) still usable
Poor (p) : Poor wafer with many visible scratches and deformations and
bad structures but still sufficient as illustrative material.
IC circuits are printed (photolithographically) and etched on the wafers.
The wafers are intended as illustrative material, e.g. for teachers who want to show their students how ICs are made and what they look like, or to collect especially for IT'ers, chip designers, students. They can also be used as an example of the state of the chip industry in the given period.
These wafers are also suitable as a speculative investment (in 10, 20 years the prices will be much higher), especially as storage is easy due to the size of the wafers (no guarantee).
!!!! Important note!!! :
Silicon wafers are glass-like and break very easily when bent or dropped.
For this reason, they are packed very sturdily and rigidly when shipped.
Please open the package carefully. Do not bend the package when opening it.
A 10 to 100x microscope is good for viewing.
