Up for sale today is this Folsom City Limit boundary sign. Made to the exact standards as used from 1962 to 1980 by the California Department of Public Works, Division of Highways. population and elevation are correct to the 1970 census.
The sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 3 pounds, 13 ounces. It has been faithfully rescaled from the original 36x24 inch sign for more convenient display down to a much more manageable 15x10 inch size. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a larger size version, please ask as I can certainly make one!)
This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
