ANTIQUE KPM GERMANY PORCELAIN HAND PAINTED STUTZ CASTLE SCENIC GOLD RIM SCALLOPED 7 1/8" PLATE 1900-1920
This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. NOTE: there is some wear to the gold. Very Nice Antique KMP German Porcelain Decorative Plate. This is top of the line German antique porcelain and appears to be professionally hand painted and titled by French artists. The quality and craftsmanship in this expertly hand painted plate is clearly evident when viewing the central scene. This features the Castle of Stutz as viewed from small river.
The details in the painting are so well done it is as if you can hear the rustling of leaves or splash in the river. The back of the plate is titled and loosely translates from French to English as "Guesthouse at the Castle of Stutz". The plate is lightly fluted and scalloped with gold trim and verge.
This measures 7 1/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this German Porcelain Plate.
