RARE!!  EARLY AVIATION HISTORY.  RUTH BLACKMAN ALSO KNOWN AS DOROTHY WAS A PIONEER ARIEL AEROBATIC WOMAN SKYDIVER WHO PERFORMED AT FAIRS AND CIRCUS EVENTS AROUND THE COUNTRY.  AVIATOR SMITH IS LEON "WINDY" SMITH OF PINE CITY NEW YORK WHO WAS A WELL KNOWN WWI PIOLT.  THE PHOTOGRAPHER WAS W.R. BONSALL OF ELMIRA N.Y.  THEY APPEAR TO BE STANDING NEXT TO A CURTISS JENNY BIPLANE.  OVERALL, A VERY RARE, EARLY HISTORICAL ITEM.
