I made this bracelet from pure solid copper and Royston turquoise stone. First, I cut out 6 different leaf designs with my saw blade and soldered them onto the band using silver solder. I prefer silver solder because it is more flexible than copper solder. Then, I cleaned the greyish parts of the solder using different grits of sandpapers. Before setting the stone, I patinated it with liver of sulphur to give it a dark brown color. After setting the stone, I sanded with fine steel wool to enhance the leaf designs."

The bracelet band is 17 cm long and 1.5 cm wide, while the Royston turquoise measures 22 x 9 cm. Pure copper will oxidize over time due to its nature, requiring occasional sanding. Along with the bracelet, I will include a piece of steel wool for gentle surface sanding. This way, you can gently sand the bracelet without applying too much

Copper  oxidize over time, resulting in a greenish color. While the oxidation of copper usually does not harm the skin, some individuals may have an allergy to copper. In such cases, prolonged exposure to copper can cause a greenish tint on the skin. This effect is generally not harmful, but individuals with copper allergies should be cautious.

About Me
~~~~~~~
In short, I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend to many, and a companion to some.
For the past 15 years, I have been creating metal objects and jewelry using traditional methods in the small studio I have converted from a room in my home. With genes inherited from a family engaged in crafts such as shoemaker, carpentry, tailoring, and jewelry making, and influenced by the cultural richness of the region I live in, I enjoy transforming objects into designs, be it miniatures, jewelry, or objects crafted from various materials. In a nutshell, you will discover a variety of items in different categories with various styles here, all of which are handmade designs on my workbench. I have assigned a number to each design based on the date and order of creation. I hope to one day reach three-digit numbers.
 With love…
