Very unusual figure bowl of the Qianlong Period (1736 -1795) in fair condition. Bowl is of good size 24cm diameter (9.5"). Rim is gold gilded and it has classic export style gilded decoration banded border to the interior of the bowl.

What makes this bowl so unusual and rare is the intense colour pallet used by the artist. The bowl has a a really rich deep dark cobalt blue ground with  the decoration done in very vibrant colours , mauves, yellows, iron red , orange and green.

Although the bowl has damage this could be professionally restored and I believe this could be an extremely valuable bowl when restored.

Made during the Reign of the Emperor Qianlong (1735-1796)
