The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, loved by aviation fans of all ages in Japan and overseas, was finally retired from the Air Self-Defense Force in March of this year, the 50th anniversary of its operation. In response to this, we look back on the history of the Air Self-Defense Force fighter type F-4EJ and reconnaissance aircraft type RF-4E, and post a collection of beautiful aerial photographs of the phantoms of each type of the four units that have been operated until the end.
