circa 1890.Up for your consideration is a nice heavy American bronze cast relief plaque with reclining Venus and Cupid. The plaque is marked on the back "CAST BY THE METALLIC COMPRESS. CASTING CO. No46 CONGRESS ST. BOSTON MASS. This bronze plaque was on display for the last 50 years at a local Chicago restaurant. The rectangular plaque measures approx. 13" x 9.
