Here comes instant house! -- Operation quick-as-a-wink for outdoor comfort gets under way with the Forecast Accordium, Henry Glass' contribution to Aluminum Company of America's continuing Forecast Collection of outstanding designs for the future in aluminum. The completely equipped, six-person mobile shelter rides compactly over the road (see above), and may be easily prepared for outdoor comfort (below) by unsqueezing its six wedge-shaped sleeping compartments. The aluminum-skeleton shelter expands 250 per cent when opened. A compact, less-than-200 cubic feet, when closed for transport, the Accordium encloses a 700-cubic-foot space when opened for use.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated --none.
