This is a beautiful
PAIR OF
ANTIQUE
CARVED OAK
WOODEN BOOKENDS
In my estimation they date from the late 19th Century, circa 1880-1900, but please make up your own mind about this.
The book ends each measure approx 8 1/4 inches (210mm) tall, by 6 1/4 inches (160mm) wide.
They are superbly carved from solid oak, and are in very good, antique condition, with no damage or repairs.
The carved designs are very well excecuted, and the workmanship in the carving is fabulous!
This is a beautiful pair of antique bookends; they would still be fine to use and would make a great decorative feature.
