These gates are made from pressure treated Tanalised timber which means that they have a lot less chance of rotting quickly and roughly gives the gates a extra life span of around 10 years

Upon fitting these gates will need a form of oil based treatment to prevent-splitting,warping,twisting,shrinking & swelling, recommend treatment, bartoline creosote, sadolin clear ( at least 2 coats )
