- Instrucion of instalation
For powering the cubes, it is recommended to use voltage-stabilized power supplies (preferably switch-mode). The voltage supplied to the cube must not exceed 12.5VDC. To connect the cubes, it is recommended to use copper wire (stranded) with insulation suitable for moist and low-temperature environments, with a size of 1.5mm², and the outer diameter of the wire insulation must not exceed 3.8mm. The polarity of the power supply to the cubes is irrelevant. The illuminated cube is connected using Scotchlok 316 IR connectors according to the installation instructions. A minimum layer of sand under the cube should be 5cm thick, necessary for the optimal arrangement of wires and connectors. Connections should be made with the power off. After connecting each cube, the power should be turned on to check the correctness of the connection and the functioning of the element (the cube should light up). The laid cube should be padded with thick felt to avoid scratching the surface. The maximum number of cubes on one circuit depends on the type of cubes. The current consumption for each type of cube is provided on the product label. The total current for one circuit must not exceed 15A.
