This must be, by far, the BEST of these for sale on eBay today.
You get a freshly re-polished hub CAP, an original old embellisher (beauty) RING with it's old, used CLIPS.
Note: I have included the old, naff, CLIPS for free, as SAMPLES. Please don't include them as having any value in this sale. If you don't like them, just put them in the bin.
This is the later VENTED version, so is correct for the later Bentley T1 , al Bentley T2 and some early Bentley Mulsanne and most others made between 1965 and 1980.
*Note: This one comes with a hub-cap lock hole already drilled, so you can fit a hub-cap lock if you want to, else just put a small rubber bung/cap in it.
Will NOT fit a Silver Cloud or Bentley S1!
Hub-Cap = Made of solid (polished) Stainless Steel.
Embellisher (beauty) RING = Made of mild steel.
*The Hub Cap: EXCELLENT!! *JUST back from the PROFESSIONAL polishers (at my cost). Very old and pre-used (looks like new!), so far from mint on the INSIDE. NO SCRATCHES around the near perfect edge.
The EMBELLISHER RING = solid and good but with very poor paint.
I would expect any new buyer to want to have this ring repainted to match the ones on the car, but could just be left as-is if used as a display item for a man-cave etc.
The Embellisher Ring retaining clips (x 6), are good but used. These would normally be discarded as they were only ever designed to be used once. Includes as SAMPLES and have NO value with this sale.
However, if you added some silicone adhesive between the back of the cap and the ring as you refitted it, ( a known trick mainly used to stop and ring rattles), these old clips made still be good enough to hold the ring firm. (As they are still readily available, I would buy new ones!). Currently only loosely re-fitted to make the ring re-removal a bit easier.

Note: The number/s at the end of the title is my own personal reference and nothing to do with the item.
The picture for the real car, is just an example of the sort of cars this hub cap would have been used on, i,e, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and Silver Shadow II etc. The real car is not included in this sale.
