Original daguerreotype, I believe the man is a preacher.. looks to be holding a small book in his hand, his finger marking a page. Possibly a prayer book. Plate is in pretty good antique condition with tarnish or haze and what I think are mold spiders. It has newer seals. The case is in VG condition though the covers are separated.
