FABULOUS , NEW WITH TAGS, VINTAGE BUT UNUSED & BOXED, MEN'S JAPANESE, HAORI HIMO -TYING CORDS FOR HAORI JACKET - THICK ROUNDED SILK CORD WITH TYPICAL TASSELS

You do not normally find these cords for sale in the UK but I have some today. They are an accessory to be worn with a man's haori kimono jacket.

This pair of himo cords are fairly typical in that they are very dark blue in colour and made of woven thick rounded silk cord.

There are no labels but the items is boxed and still has cellophane wrappers on the tassels.  Once unwrapped the tassels will 'fluff out' to make a good effect.

The pair of ties are already tied and have the necessary hooks for attaching to the little loops inside a haori jacket. These blue ones could be worn with most types of men's haori jacket, except for the most formal wear.

The himo are important as a finishing touch. They sit on the front of the chest as the haori jacket is worn open and they look really elegant. (please see last photo).

SIZE AND CONDITION: The himo are vintage but unused with box and original cellophane wrapping.  The white paper label has some slight spotting.

The himo are in unused vintage condition.

They are a typical size, being about 7"/18cm from the hooks to the bottom.

The himo in the box  weigh about 70g.

A NOTE ABOUT POSTAGE. Despite being small and light, these himo are too bulky to be classed as a letter and must be sent as a small packet. That is reflected in the postage costs.

If you buy the himo alone then you will have to pay postage. If you buy a kimono from me I will not charge extra postage for this item. The way the checkout works is that you will have to buy it and pay the postage and I will refund the postage for the himo if you are also buying a kimono.

If you need any more information or pictures just send me a message.

All information is to the best of my knowledge. Please bear in mind, that colours do not always show absolutely accurately on photos and on monitors although they should be close to reality.

My items are mostly vintage and are not returnable unless grossly mis-described, so please check the details and measurements before bidding/buying. Please be aware that vintage clothing does not usually 'look like new' even when it is in excellent condition. Some slight general signs of ageing and use should be expected. If these are conspicuous, they will be mentioned in the description.

Low feedback
– For auctions, if you have less than 3 feedbacks, please email me before bidding. If you do not, I may cancel your bid and block you from bidding until we have communicated. Sorry about this but it is based on previous experience of problems.

Delivery Address – I can only post to the address shown on the paypal/ebay payment, otherwise none of us are protected by the paypal/ebay policies.

Payment and postage terms: The postal charge includes a small packaging and handling charge. eBay now charge a final value fee commission on the postal charge as well as the item value. So I have had to pass this new cost on via the postal cost.

UK buyers – I have to used tracked postage now to protect both the buyer and seller in case of problems with delivery.

On post to overseas.- I am now using the eBay Global Shipping Programme, so the shipping rates are not set buy me. Once the item has left my hands, the control of the shipping is with eBay.

Please note that once the parcel has left my hands, I cannot accept responsibility for the performance of the postal services or customs in your country. Or for any customs or import duties/taxes charged in your country.

Combined postage for UK buyers, depending on what you buy, I will look into the most secure and economical way to send combined parcels and advise you of options. But, as the weight and value of the parcel rises so does the postage cost. Please do not expect large savings on combined postage. Sometimes it is actually cheaper to send more than one parcel.

RETURNS POLICY – I do not take returns except in the exceptional circumstance of an item being wrongly described. Please understand that selling items on ebay and posting them out incurs costs to me, so please don't buy unless you have read the description carefully and are sure that you want the item. Except in the situation where an item has been wrongly described, the buyer is always responsible for return postage.
