LOVELY QUALITY, NEW WITH TAGS, SILKY, FIGURED POLYESTER SATIN, JAPANESE-MADE, KIMONO-STYLE DRESSING GOWN / ROBE - Long Length with matching Belt - ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS

DEEP SKY BLUE WITH WHITE EGRET HERON BIRDS, PLUM BLOSSOM BRANCHES & FLOWERS.


I have not seen such a robe before. It is similar to many of the Japanese made silky robs but the base fabric is figured, so it has an underlying woven pattern of blossom branches and small plants. The underlying pattern does not show well on the photos but catches the light very nicely and adds a lot of interest.

It was evidently bought in USA for $85 which is about £70. 

You are offered a plainly unused, with origianl shop tags, so new condition, beautiful, soft, very lustrous, feminine, top quality, silky polyester Japanese-made kimono dressing gown / robe.

The base colour is a deep sky blue.

The pattern shows a lovely white egret heron bird standing on rocks amongst typical Japanese flowers.  These are peonies, chrysanthemums and bamboo leaves. Above the bird is a lovely branch of white cherry blossom. 

I believe this robe was bought as a gift which was never used.

This maker's label shows as 'Eaton' which I have not seen before. The label shows it is washable and made in Japan.  

Similar Japanese made, silky robes are being sold today for around £75-89. So they are a quality and expensive item unlike the Chinese made copies. They tend to wash and last well and be excellent quality.

SIZE : This is a 'one size fits all' garment because it is a wrap round style . It will fit a range of sizes up to a maximum of UK size 16. Please check the measurements given against your own robe to check the fit.
The length is full length (depending on your height) at 56"/142cm long.
The width from one cuff to the other cuff is 52"/132cm.
The width across the back (armpit to armpit) is 25"/64cm. The width all around the kimono at waist level, from the front of one side, all the way round the back, to the front of the other side is about 57"/145cm and please remember you need a good overlap at the front.
The robe weighs about 300g. The belt is about 81"/206cm long.

CONDITION: The condition is new. It is plainly unused and still has its original shop tags. There is some very minor creasing from storage.

Payment and postage terms: The postal charge includes a small packaging and handling charge. eBay now charge a final value fee commission on the postal charge as well as the item value. So I have had to pass this new cost on via the postal cost.

UK buyers – I have to used tracked postage now to protect both the buyer and seller in case of problems with delivery.

On post to overseas.- I am now using the eBay Global Shipping Programme, so the shipping rates are not set buy me. Once the item has left my hands, the control of the shipping is with eBay.

Combined postage for UK buyers, depending on what you buy, I will look into the most secure and economical way to send combined parcels and advise you of options. But, as the weight and value of the parcel rises so does the postage cost. Please do not expect large savings on combined postage. Sometimes it is actually cheaper to send more than one parcel.

RETURNS POLICY – I do not take returns except in the exceptional circumstance of an item being wrongly described. Please understand that selling items on ebay and posting them out incurs costs to me, so please don't buy unless you have read the description carefully and are sure that you want the item. Except in the situation where an item has been wrongly described, the buyer is always responsible for return postage.
