You are offered a very gently used or possibly unused, beautiful, soft, lustrous, feminine, top quality, silky polyester Japanese-made kimono dressing gown / robe. The fabric used in this vintage robe is particularly soft, smooth and fine fabric made to imitate fine silk.
The base colour is a deep black.

The pattern shows traditional Japanese plants and flowers in various shades of orangey-red, peachy-pinks, greys and white, including magnolia, wisteria and cherry blossom. There are also some small birds in greens and greys.
It has a long matching tie belt and two front side pockets.
This robe was
bought as a gift some years ago and probably never worn worn. The care label
says that the item is 100% polyester and machine washable at low temperature.
This maker's label shows a village scene and has no name. This is the top maker of these kind or robes in my opinion. I have a number of their robes myself, some of which I have had for 25 years and they are still going strong and wash very well.
SIZE
: Although it is a 'one size fits all'
garment because it is a wrap round style - I
think it would fit a range of sizes up to a maximum of UK size 14 .
The length is
below knee length at 42"/107cm long (depending on your height).
The cuff to cuff width is 50"/127cm.
The width
across the back (armpit to armpit) is 25"/63.5cm. The width all around the
kimono from the front of one edge, all the way round the back, to the front of
the other edge at waist level is around 51"/130cm and please remember you need a good
overlap at the front.
The robe weighs about 300g. The belt is around 80"/204cm long.
CONDITION: It appears to be either unused or otherwise very gently used and in near new condition. There are no particular signs of wear. It looks near to new.

Payment and postage terms: The postal charge includes a small packaging and handling charge. eBay now charge a final value fee commission on the postal charge as well as the item value. So I have had to pass this new cost on via the postal cost.
UK buyers – I have to used tracked postage now to protect both the buyer and seller in case of problems with delivery.
On post to overseas.- I am now using the eBay Global Shipping Programme, so the shipping rates are not set buy me. Once the item has left my hands, the control of the shipping is with eBay.

Combined postage for UK buyers, depending on what you buy, I will look into the most secure and economical way to send combined parcels and advise you of options.
