Description

Gracey curettes are area-specific periodontal curettes made from stainless steel used to remove supra and subgingival calculus.

This is used for periodontal scaling, calculus debridement and root planning.

Gracey 1/2:    Angled with two cutting parts, ideal for removing tartar from tooth surfaces. It allows better adaptation to the root
                       surface.

                       Use for anterior teeth: upper and lower incisors and canines

Gracey 3/4:   Use for scaling and root planning of incisors, upper and lower canines on their distal, mesial, vestibular and palatal

                      surfaces. Its angled design allows easy access to the anterior teeth

Gracey 5/6:   Indicated for scaling and root planning of anterior teeth and premolars on their free and lateral sides. They are slightly
                      angled design of curettes for working on anterior teeth and premolars and can be used for upper and lower teeth.
                      Better adaptation to the root surface.

Gracey 7/8:   Indicated for scaling and root planning. Slightly angled curette with a longer active part for accessing the most difficult
                      areas for working on free posterior tooth surfaces. Design also allows better adaptation to the root surface.

Gracey 9/10: Use for scaling and root planning of molars on the vestibular or palatal side. It is a very angled curette for working free
                      faces of posterior teeth, making it suitable for all upper and lower teeth. Design also allows better adaptation to the root
                      surface.

Gracey 11/12: Use for scaling and root planning of the mesial surfaces of upper and lower molars. They curettes are with double
                        angulations of the mesial faces of posterior teeth. Better adaptation to the root surface.

Gracey 13/14: Use for scaling and root planning of the distal surfaces of upper and lower molars. These are with double angulation
                        for access to the distal surfaces of posterior teeth. Better adaptation to the root surface.
