Photo frontis (w/ tissue protector intact) & 15 plates in text (verified)- incl. line drawings & b/w photos- all firmly & completely attached. I went through this book twice & could find no evidence of any more illus. being present or removed. Red cloth binding tight & square- shows light rubbing, bit of soil. Small 1/2" x 1/4" nick at top of spine. Gold gilt lettering intact & legible. Overall, copy displays very well.
