Mini r56 Factory JCW

101,xxx miles

Mot until April 2025

Like all of the ads for these cars, it’s a reluctant but genuine sale😂

I wanted to keep this car forever but running it along side an e92 m3 just doesn’t make sense no more.

Since I bought the car in feb 2019 it’s been nearly flawless. Other than a snapped aux belt and snapped clutch fork it’s never gone wrong and everything that has been done has been mainly preventative maintenance.

Including: coolant overflow bottle, chain and tensioner, thermostat housing and pipe and turbo oil feed and return.

Car was mapped by renowned tuner RnD 4 years ago and has print out to show. It pulls well and has never missed a beat since they did so.

I love this car so much and will be very sad to see it go.

Car is sitting on freshly refurbished wheels, wrapped in Michelin PS4 tyres( fronts are nearly new, rears have 2-3mm left)

New discs and pads(spare set of pads) on the front and plenty of life left on the rears.

Spec:

Heated seats, factory tint, sat-nav and chilli pack with sport button and genuine GP diffuser, genuine carbon steering wheel and genuine carbon JCW gear stick.

Mods:

Stage 2 map by RnD motorsport, with colder plugs, pipercross panel filter, decatted down pipe, MTC intercooler, carbon steering wheel inserts with LCI thicker steering wheel, Carbon JCW gear stick, fully adjustable HSD coilovers, wheel spacers, power flex dog bone bush, power flex subframe bushes and new OEM bottom arm bushes.

Maintenance:

it’s got service history until 58k miles/2018. I’m a mechanic by trade so I’ve done the rest my self since but I’ve kept every invoice for parts and the jobs it’s had done at workshops.

Since I’ve owned it,  it’s had:

regular oil changes, 2 coolant flushes, new OEM Nissens radiator, 2 sets of NGK plugs, OEM thermostat housing, OEM water pump and pipe, OEM HPFP, OEM flywheel and a clutch fork, updated oil feed and return for turbo and gasket for the oil cooler.

It had a new clutch 10k miles ago and valve stem oil seals 6k ago

Bad points:

Car has lacquer peel on the bonnet and some on the boot.

rear tyres have 2-3mm left

Other than that it’s pretty sweet.

It’s been to the Nurburgring twice in the past 2 years and as far south as Switzerland. It’s never let me down and touch wood it’s been incredibly reliable and stout for the N14
