A unique vintage panorama map published in Koln. Featuring a bird's-eye view of the course of the Rhine River from Cologne to Mainz. There are 13 panels, the first and the last are scenes the remainder follow the river,
The Rhine is represented in the middle of the countryside and corresponds to the vertical axis of the map. The names of the villages near which it passes are noted. The most interesting sites are illustrated and appear in vignettes along the course of the river.
Very uncommon with only one found in institutions in Germany [OCLC] There are a few b/w examples also.
