Introducing our Vintage Kokosha Brass Flameproof Ceiling Light. These explosion-proof lights were typically located on supertankers and cargo ships in hazardous areas. They were made by Kokosha in Osaka, Japan, in the 1980s. Sought after for their unique design, these lights suit various decor styles and environments. These can be installed in bedrooms, hallways, living rooms, ships, or any nautical area. Bring nautical industrial charm into your interior with the Vintage Kokosha Brass Flameproof Ceiling Light.

Wiring:
This light has been re-wired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the socket, you will need a 3/8″ 6-point hex socket (example shown in photos), loosen the screws, and lift off the cage/globe.
