Description

This model combines a medium-large chamber with a slightly low baffle with a step at the tip of the baffle, allowing you to enjoy the lustrous sound of a soprano with a soft and spacious tone. Recommended for those looking for a refreshing West Coast style sound with good response, or for those looking for a smooth jazz style soprano sound.

This is a handmade mouthpiece made in the USA by Mark Sepinuck. He established his own mouthpiece brand by leveraging the experience and know-how gained over many years as a professional player, educator, and dealer. In order to create a great mouthpiece, we first believe that it should have a tone that satisfies us, and we create something that produces the best sound for us. Understanding that the best sound for oneself may not necessarily be the best sound for others, the goal was to create a sound that satisfied oneself, and by pursuing that sound, the result was a lot of success. We believe that we can create excellent mouthpieces that people can relate to, and we continue to create them with passion and love.
The mouthpiece is carefully finished by Brian Powell and Erik Greiffenhagen, disciples of Ralph Morgan, artisans at Morgan Mouthpieces, and renowned refacers. The hard rubber is high quality rubber made in Germany.

There is a crescent baffle-type step at the tip of the baffle, which is carved gently and low toward the chamber, and the sidewall is flat at the tip, but it is carved into a larger size toward the chamber from where the baffle begins to descend. . Basically, I think it has a soft tone and a spacious tone rather than a focused tone. The core and density of the sound is neither too light nor too heavy, with just the right balance, making the sound refreshing and glossy. I think this model is recommended for those who want to enjoy a soprano jazz sound that has a light, glossy atmosphere rather than a powerful sound, and for smooth jazz.
