For sale is a lot of 20 Vintage 35mm Railroad Train Slides from the estate of lifetime photographer/collector who amassed a remarkable collection of 21,000 stunning railroadiana slides, which he carefully organized and stored in metal cases, which protected them beautifully. I am going to be selling this collection in mostly 20-slide lots over the next few months. His collection has slides (many Kodachrome) from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and a few from the early 2000s. Many appear to be original slides with great color, but check the pictures for quality and for notations regarding date, train identification and photo location. Check the pictures for possible duplicates, since I am not versed in making those distinctions. I have no idea which of the slides might be more rare or valuable, so you get the fun of seeing which ones might be in this lot. The slide lot is sold as is, and is not eligible for returns, but I welcome additional questions about particular slides. I am not open to breaking up the lot and selling individual slides. They will ship with sturdy protective packaging.

This lot loosely features Blackhawk Films production slides, showing various locomotives and rail cars, still or in action. Some of the slide themes or keywords I see in this lot are: countryside, railyard, diesel

Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on.  Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option.  However, if I made a mistake (I am human), or you have a concern, please contact me, and I will do everything reasonably possible to make it right, and my feedback reflects that.  I want both us to come out winners here.  You can expect the items I sell to be smoke-free, unless I specifically state otherwise. Higher value items may require signature confirmation upon receipt, but there is no charge to the buyer for this.

At your request, I will be happy to create a combined shipping invoice on multiple purchases, subject to size/weight restrictions or any other eBay policy limitations. However, eBay's Global Shipping Program may limit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns. As of 2019, many U.S. states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires a sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment. I'm sorry about this added cost, but it is a requirement of your state and not a cent goes to me. Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase. Have fun.
