1970's  Vintage Wedding Gown in  Edwardian Empire style.

Size 10-12.

Bust 32ins

Armpit to armpit inside the dress 32 ins

Shoulder to shoulder 14 ins

Waist is empire line from 43 ins.

Hips 38ins (Approx hip line)

1970s Edwardian style wedding gown high waist / empire line– bodice and under skirt in quality satin type fabric.  Over layered with fine net with dainty bobble trim

Sleeves are tapered to wrist with a darted detail. Wrist measures 8ins.

Wrists have a deep frill again with neat trim.  Fasten with clear tiny poppers.  Length of sleeves from shoulder to wrist 23 ins plus extra 3 ins with trimmed frill.

Top of gown detail front bib with detail of 7 fabric covered dainty buttons. Double layer of frill, again with a dainty trim. 

The Bodice is darted front and back

Length of dress from shoulders to front hem 55 ins.

Over also measures 55 ins at front.

Closure of gown is s long metal zip 21 ins, overlay is fastened with tiny clear poppers.

Rear of gown is  double layered train from waist to 87ins . Upper layer is also trimmed with dainty trim.

NB.   There is no makers’ label inside, however the quality of the finish and detail to inside seams indicative of a very professional make. 

Has been gently hand washed and thoroughly checked and the gown is in perfect condition.

The gown is fitted, beautiful with a floaty train, to add to a dreamy princess feel.
