A collection of five antiquarian book prospectuses, all relating to architecture from around 1900, including one for a book on Augustus Welby Pugin. At least one is illustrated - see photos. All items are photographed individually.

A book prospectus is a printed description of, or advertisement for, that book, usually issued before publication in an attempt to generate interest and advance orders.

See photos for condition please.

These antiquarian prospectuses are all on paper and are scarcer than the books they represent, because fewer were printed and nearly all were either discarded, or didn't survive, due to being on flimsy paper.

To the right collector, these are more valuable than the books themselves, because they are far scarcer.

These are rare survivors and I am asking for £7 (for all five items), plus postage £2.10 UK, £5.50 Europe, £8.25 USA/world - Air Mail, proof of postage abroad.
