SS CHAPEL HILL VICTORY: Offered is a WW II Memorial Ship cover

postmarked Nov 6, 2012 at Chapel Hill, NC. This 455' merchant cargo vessel

was one of a large group of Victory Ships named for American Cities. This ship was launched on

Dec 4, 1944 by Beth-Fairfield Shipyard at Baltimore, MD

and named for the City of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
