The Dark Knight Rises New Thinkway Toys U Command Batmobile Remote Control Vehicle!
The Dark Knight rises again with the introduction in 2012 of the new Batmobile which is an armored bike with weapons, ready to tear through traffic and rubble of Gotham City. This Batmobile is controlled by a wireless remote control and is able to perform stunts. This remote control vehicle is suitable for both boys and girls over the age of 4 and it has dimensions of 20.3 X 22.9 cm. Re-enact scenes from your favorite Dark Knight Movie or from the Batman animated series. Use the remote control to drive the Batmobile forward, reverse, left or right. The U-Command Batmobile requires 7 AA batteries for the remote control and the vehicle to perform. The Batmobile comes with flashing lights and sounds from the movie to make the roleplaying more exciting for your kids.
A former toy company called Thinkway Toys announced in 2012 that they will be taking on some brand new Batman remote controlled vehicles from the then brand new Batman movie. They made a U-Command Batmobile Remote Control Vehicle with lights and sounds. Thinkway Toys
Thinkway Toys is a Canadian-based toy company founded in 1984, notable for creating the first talking Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear toys, along with the Toy Story Signature Collection. Thinkway was originally granted the worldwide master toy license for Toy Story from 1995 to 2003. In 2009, Thinkway began releasing new Toy Story toys during the preparation of Toy Story 3.
History
When Toy Story was being made in 1995, Disney was having trouble finding distributors willing to produce the toy products for the film. With the film coming out in only 8 months, larger toy companies such as Mattel and Hasbro as well as Disney Consumer Products had turned down the daunting task of having to produce the Toy Story merchandise. Then in February, after bringing their idea for Toy Story brand toys to the New York Toy Fair, the small retailer Thinkway Toys agreed to produce them. By the film's release, despite the relatively short period of time given, Thinkway Toys had created the first Buzz and Woody toys.
