Anglo-Amer by Cavaliere 1930s gold safety fountain pen.

La Anglo-Amer (Anglo-American) è stata una ditta costruttrice di penne stilografiche, anche di alta qualità, fondata dai fratelli Cavaliere a Milano a metà degli anni '20, azienda che operò come produzione di penne proprie ed anche come laboratorio per le penne con rivestimento dorato di Aurora, Kaweco, Waterman etc.

Questa rara penna stilografica d'epoca della Anglo-Amer, di circa 90/95 anni di età, un modello di dimensioni molto piccole, ed è interamente rivestita in metallo dorato, il classico "gold overlay" tanto famoso in quegli anni, che era tipico, ovviamente, delle penne di alta gamma.

La penna è circa del 1928/32, per cui si tratta certamente di una delle penne dei primissimi anni di produzione.

Questa penna ora in vendita è in condizioni ottime, bella e sana, senza botte o graffi deturpanti, ed il rivestimento in oro è ancora integro e senza sdorature, una bella penna adatta certamente ad una collezione.

Questa penna è decisamente piccola, una "lady" lunga solamente 93mm, senza considerare l'anellino al top del cappuccio, una penna davvero molto minuta, decisamente affascinante.

E' una "safety pen", con pennino retrattile ed ancora con caricamento a goccia.

Il suo pennino è un Anglo American, anche se le scritte sono parzialmente cancellate dal tempo.....

Ribadisco l'originalità della penna e che sia di dimensioni molto piccole, abbastanza rara per questa casa, una Safety in ottime condizioni generali.

Questa penna è un oggetto vintage, viene da una bella collezione e non è stata testata per l'uso.

Anglo-Amer (Anglo-American) was a manufacturer of fountain pens, also of high quality, founded by the Cavaliere brothers in Milan in the mid 1920s, a company that operated as a manufacturer of its own pens and also as a workshop for the gold overlay pens of Aurora, Kaweco, Waterman etc.

This rare vintage fountain pen from Anglo-Amer is about 90/95 years old, a very small model, and is entirely coated in gold metal, the classic 'gold overlay' so famous in those years, which was typical, of course, of high-end pens.

The pen is circa 1928/32, so it is certainly one of the pens from the very first years of production.

This pen now for sale is in very good condition, nice and sound, without any disfiguring bumps or scratches, and the gold coating is still intact and without brassing, a beautiful pen certainly suitable for a collection.

This pen is decidedly small, a 'lady' only 93mm long, not counting the ring at the top of the cap, a very petite pen indeed, definitely charming.

It is a 'safety pen', with a retractable nib and drop filler.

Its nib is an Anglo American, although the lettering is partially erased by time.....

I reiterate the originality of the pen and that it is very small, quite rare for this house, a Safety in very good overall condition.
