Jupiter-8 50 mm/f:2 is a Russian photographic lens produced in Soviet times. It was produced with the M39 mount, or "Leica thread mount", and the Zeiss Contax mount for early Zeiss cameras. This is a copy of the Carl Zeiss Sonnar 50mm f2. The lens was produced on German Carl Zeiss equipment, which was received by the USSR as reparations. The lens is much better quality than just Jupiter 8 from the 70-80-90s.

For rangefinder cameras FED, Zorki, Leica. M39.

Using the appropriate adapter, this lens can be installed on any modern mirrorless cameras, such as Sony NEX, Samsung NX, Olympus micro 4/3, etc. (adapter not included).
