***BARN FIND 1958 LAMBRETTA LD 125 MK3 IN VERY ORIGINAL CONDITION***

Last used on the road in 1980 (as tax disc shows). It is now of an age that excludes it from road tax or MOT test requirements, as a classic vehicle.

The Garage bought it from it's previous owner, whose Father was the last person to use the scooter, which we understand had spent all of it's life until then in South London.

After the death of his Father, the previous owner stored it in his garage for 42 years until finally deciding to sell it and pass it on. We were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to purchase it.

We did the sensible things, like replacing the tyres & tubes, because they were perished, the exhaust because it had corroded, and the cables that had rusted and seized. The oils were changed, and the carburettor was cleaned, after which the engine fired on the 4^th kick.  We then left the condition exactly as it was found, and haven't even cleaned it, as you can see.

It starts, runs and rides just as it should, and everything works.

This scooter could be used and ridden just as it is, or restored to whatever standard or specification required. Absolutely all parts and spares are readily available.
