Mortimer Menpes was a painter, author, printmaker and illustrator and this volume is a collection of his works of Venice which have been compiled and commented on by his daughter Dorothy Menpes. Cornflower blue cloth hardboards with gilt and white panelled decoration and gilt title lettering to front and spine, Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Boards with a few light bumps to edges, spine faded and boards are a little rubbed. Binding is solid and text block is square. Contents clean.
