Up for sale this super rare, beautifully crafted set of 6 RARE 1962 SOVIET USSR FILIGREE 2ЮММЕТ MELCHIOR TEA CUP HOLDERS / ПОДСТАКАННИКИ. According to the 2ЮММЕТ stamp on the bottom, these  tea cup holders were made in Moscow, USSR in 1962. The material is German cupronickel - the alloy of copper 90% and nickel 10%. ade in USSR in mid-1950's! Also, each item is stamped on the bottom with a Soviet price - 6 roubles, equal then to $21 US, which is equal to $217 US TODAY!!!

Each ПОДСТАКАННИК is crafted with filigrees all over the body. Measurements of each is 2 1/2" tall (4 5/8" with handle) X 2 3/8" wide (upper opening at the widest point) X 3 1/8" round base. Some items shows more oxidizing than others but overall they all are in great shape with no dents, cuts or missing parts/details. Shipping weight is near 3 pounds! This gorgeous set could be a super rare gift and definitely a collector's item!
