Dated October 23rd 1899, this is a scarce map
showing the areas of London affected by the Land Transfer Act of 1897, the
areas are individually dated on the map, although dated 1899, two of the
transfer dates on the map are dated 1900, which maybe post dated.
The linen back map is bound in hard cloth covers,
Closed the map measures 9.5 inches by 6.25 inches approx.,
fully opened it measures 40 inches by 26 inches approx.
CONDITION
The map has a few faults, the front cover is detached (see
pictures) there some loss to top edge at panel corners, there are two vertical
splits to the backing linen along the length of two of the top panels and a
partial split to a third. There is some lifting at panel corners with minor
loss, some noticeable browning as seen in the pictures
