This item is a first edition 1906 Book of Boats A Brief History of Some of the Queer Prototypes of the Modern Launch by Raymond Cavangh. It has terrific boat illustrations by E.P. Seidel. Book was published by Randall Printing Company, St. Paul, Minnesota. Copyright 1906.
The book measures about 5 X 6 1/2 inches. It is in very good to excellent condition.
Note: Determining book conditions is not our area of expertise...so please carefully look at the pictures. We will do our best to describe the book. This book likely was NOS that was unsold in the old drugstore but we cannot be sure of that. The book has 123 pages. The cover and spine show very little wear. There is a very small wear area on the bottom edge of the spine. There is a tiny, tiny scuff dot on the front cover black border above the white cloud. Inside upper first page and back cover have what appears to be price & code written in pencil...see the picture for the upper first page. Back pencil writing is smaller and similar. The page showing the title, author and Randall Printing has a folded down lower corner. That page also two tiny dark spots...we cannot tell if these were done during printing or by someone later. There are a couple of inner pages with some upper mid page light angled creases going towards the spine...to us, this appears to be possibly a paper flaw or done while printing?? We are not sure. The book spine seems to be holding very well.
