Wedgwood England AK7282 Cuckoo Yellow Pattern Antique Porcelain Enamel Hand Painted Exotic Cuckoo Bird & Chinese Flowers 8 1/2" Rare Oval Vegetable Bowl 1898-1906
This over (117) One Hundred and seventeen-year-old Bowl is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks NOTE: there is some light natural crazing. Very nice Antique Wedgwood porcelain oval vegetable bowl. This one is in the Rare Cuckoo Yellow Pattern. It is individually hand-painted with the Exotic Cuckoo Bird and Chinese Flowers. The colors are nice and bright and have great detail. Most of the pattern appears to have been painted before the pieces were lacquered, which helps preserve the color and shows Wedgwood had in-house decorators and artists at one time. The back stamp marks on these have the Wedgwood Eutura England Marks and impressed letters that date these pieces from 1898 to 1906. Most of the Yellow pieces in the Wedgwood Cuckoo Pattern are hard to find. Especially in Excellent Condition.
