Written by lady while riding the EL in 1921  from the suburb of Evanston into the downtown of Chicago, this extremely interesting eight-page letter discusses many topics including her refusal to go under the "gas" by anesthesia by a doctor and other interesting topics. The cover has a very fine Washington -Franklin stamp tied by a slogan cancel for the Pageant of Progress Exposition in Chicago in 1921. Mailed by Mrs. J.J. Collins to her friend Mrs. Harkison in Aurora, Illinois, on June 14. A fabulous letter in a VF cover. Low opening bid.  Best offers considered.  .
