Tamiya 1/10 Ford Focus WRC TL-01 #58241 RC car

Offered for spares or repair/restoration, here we have a vintage Tamiya RC car. Probably built over 20 years ago and run a bit, but never finished. There`s a tatty box, no instructions. It still has a steering servo, but no other radio gear. The original motor and mechanical speed controller are tested and working. The chassis is in good cosmetic condition, but the front upper suspension mounts are slightly warped... I don`t think this will effect running much and it looks like heat damage rather then crash damage. The wheels and tires do not look original.

The unfinished body is poorly trimmed and has some bashes from running. There`s poor paint, which may clean off with some nitro fuel to start again. It`ll never be a shelf queen body but it may be good for running, the protective film is still on the outside (with lots of road rash) so until this comes off it`s hard to judge how good or bad the lexan is underneath.

Both original decal sheets are unused and in the box, these must be hard to find now. They have a little wear and tear/some creases from storage, but I think they should be ok to use (the lighter patches on the front window decal in the photo look like air bubbles where it is coming away from the backing). The original wing mirrors and spoiler are also in the box, unused.
