This is a very rare ARMED FORCES RADIO & TELEVISION SERVICE DJ promotional LP in great condition.

This one features "The World We Knew" with Bert Kaempfert and his Orchestra on one side and Frank Sinatra on the other.

It features 12 total tracks, 6 per side.

AFRTS aka AMERICAN FORCES RADIO AND TELEVISION SERVICE LPs were sent to United States military bases' radio stations and typically featured two different artists and their current releases per record side. Some featured only one artist and others were compilations with three or more different artists. They mostly offered abridged versions of the LPs and in some cases edited or shortened the length of the tracks that were manufactured solely for Military Station Library only records.

An extremely limited number of these were pressed and they are very hard to find.

The vinyl is Excellent!  It's very glossy and sounds great with hardly any surface noise. The labels are nice and clean.

These were sent in heavy paper sleeves and a lot of times you will see the catalogue numbers written in the upper corners.

This would be a fantastic addition to any serious rare vinyl collection.
