Description - Delightful early 19th century George III solid silver snuff box of rectangular form with hinged lid and foliate thumb piece

lid and base embellished with engine turned decoration with the sides having a reeded pattern

rich silver-gilt (gold washed) interior.

Fully hallmarked with anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, King's head, date letter "w" for the year 1820 and the maker's mark "TN" which is Thomas Newbold.

Condition - Generally good condition,  bruising to the lid and a spot of wear to silver-gilt (please inspect end photograph)

hinge tight and closes the lid securely.
