Undated, online institutional library collections date this
book to circa 1877, an early British printing of two Jules Verne novels, “Journey
to the Centre of the Earth”, and “Five Weeks in a Balloon”. Bound in decorative
embossed patterned cloth titled and decorated in gold and silver, 7.25 inches
tall approx., illustrated with a colour frontispiece.
CONDITION
The covers have some general edge wear rubbing, mild fraying
wear at spine ends and corners, with some light marking, internally old
ownership bookplate to front pastedown, a few light marks within else in good
general condition.
