Special Feature Glory of Summoning Machine C57 139
After the war, C57 139 was placed in the Nagoya engine depot and was used as a special train pulling machine for a long time.
Based on the materials and photos that the author, Mr. Isao Nishimura, has collected so far, we will examine the performance of this machine from every angle.
In addition, we will use the testimonies and notes of former train members to reveal the full story of the night train that was operated immediately after the end of the war, as well as the behind-the-scenes details of the operation of the train.

Make a license plate with C12 66 format
Moka Railway's C12 66, which has celebrated its 90th anniversary. As a commemorative project, the train is operated with a pre-war specification number plate (number plate) installed along with a black smoke chamber door handle.
In fact, the production of this number plate was a joint project with the editorial department of this magazine ``Steam Locomotive EX'', and we will explain the entire process from making the wooden pattern to casting, painting, and finishing.

Iron Horse and Soldiers Hidaka Main Line C11
The Hidaka Main Line has been plagued by constant high waves and strong winds since the age of steam engines. We talk to retired crew members from the Tomakomai Branch of the Oiwake Locomotive District, who worked on the two-headlight C11, which was known as the "crab eyes," as well as at the front of freight trains such as the Muroran Main Line and the Chitose Line, about their efforts at the time. .
