Published in London in 1908, this is the second edition of
this scarce children's book of Astronomy, the first edition was published in
the previous year. Book features very attractive pictorial covers titled in
gilt, 8.5 inches tall approx., 207 pages, well illustrated with a frontispiece,
a further ten plates, and other smaller illustrations within the text
CONDITION
Covers have general rubbing wear, small splits and mild
fraying wear at spine ends, lightened spots to cloth on rear cover, internally
old ownership inscription to front pastedown, endpapers noticeably browned,
heavy foxing to title page and noticeable foxing on and off throughout the book.
