Huge doll.

She does have minor issues like perhaps fading, and age/wear/staining from age and use. Nothing major in my opinion.

Her hair is bright red and well attached.

The apron is hand sewn with an embellishment added to the front, along with ruffles and brick-a-brac trim.

Her shirt has long sleeves with ruffles at the wrist, and the sleeves can be pushed up to be half-sleeves or short sleeves.

Her knickers are stretched out at the waist and have been long-pined to keep them in place. Can be repaired. The knickers have elastic ruffles at the base.

She does not without a backing; she leans and sits beautifully on a bed, chair, or shelf.

Handmade by my mother. The doll may or may not have a tag inside somewhere from my mother. I have not removed the clothing to look.  She did sometimes add a tag that read "Handmade by Lois Trawick". She may or may not have added that somewhere.

My Mother, Lois Trawick, has departed this world. She was a hobby doll maker and sold many handmade dolls throughout south Texas during her lifetime. A true Southerner, pedigree from Arkansas, she took up doll-making after her children were grown and moved out of the family abode. Sewing from her home in Sutherland Springs, Texas, Lois enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and doll-making. She made beautiful dolls for boutiques and littles.  We were always amazed by her talent!  

I am sad to be selling her, but This beautiful American doll, handmade by a hobbiest American doll-maker, deserves a new home with a new little to love on her. Mama in heaven approves, I'm sure! So please, go in love, Raggedy Ann and make a new little happy.
