Betula pendula, commonly known as silver birch, warty birch, European white birch, or East Asian white birch, is a fast-growing, medium-sized deciduous tree. It is characterized by its white bark and pendulous branches. The silver birch typically reaches 15 to 25 meters tall.
Initially, the bark on the trunk and branches is golden-brown, but it later turns silvery white due to papery tissue developing on the surface and peeling off in flakes. As the tree matures, the bark thickens, becoming irregular, dark, and rugged.

British grown trees supplied in a 3L poly pot, measuring 90-120cm tall including pot.
