We test/play our records twice, once via speakers, once via headphones. Our hi-fi system comprises an Armstrong 521 Amplifier, Goldring-Lenco GL75 Transcription turntable, Shure MJ 75 EJ Type 2 cartridge, KEF Cadenza speakers. A system designed and made in the 1960s to play high quality vinyl of the day beautifully, which allows us to grade our records accurately. Ditto using Sennheiser HD 650 headphones.
