Description - Early 20th century solid silver box of rectangular form with a hinged and leather bound body

lid embellished with hand engraved C-scrolls, foliage and lattice decoration and with a monogram in no particular order "BHM"

interior has blue velvet lining.

Lid fully hallmarked with crown for Sheffield assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, date letter "n" for the year 1905 and the maker's mark "JR" which is John Round & Son Ltd.

Condition - The leather is perishing especially to the rear where there is loss and flaking (please inspect end photographs)

hinge in very good working order closing the lid securely and the decoration is crisp

interior lining in very good condition.
