Kangaroo Australian stamps 1919 3rd WMK £2 Pound Grey-Black & Crimson, A Rare C.T.O. £2

A very scarce MELBOURNE G.P.O. ‘Cancelled-to-order’ 3rd watermark £2 pound kangaroo.

These later watermark ‘high value’ kangaroo cto’s derive from sets which were released and used either for presentation purposes, or sets distributed to UPU members and are particularly scarce! Small hinge remnant on reverse and without gum as normal for these.

Excellent perforations all over.
