”The Miyako Odori” is one of Kyoto's traditional events, which has been held from 1 to 30 April every year since 1872.
This Dango dish（Dango Plate) is based on the same design and is newly produced every year for the Miyako Odori festival.
The design of the dango plate is simple and very pretty, and in Kyoto people immediately associate this design with 'Miyako Odori'.
The text on the reverse side reads 'Miyako Odori'.
