If only there was an eaiser way to select hob settings.
Thanks to the intuitive control panel and the supportive lightline,
DirectSelect makes it quicker and easier to select cooking zones and set
the specific power level.
The extended FlexZone not only lets you combine flexible
zones from front to back, but also to the side, thanks to a flexible
zone in the middle. Your hob automatically detects the size and position
of cookware in the zone, and heats those surfaces. Fit a large roasting
sideways at the top of your hob, while still having plenty of space for
pots and pans, large or small.
The right temperature is crucial for frying. Too high,
and even the best steak will cook too quickly and scorch. With
PerfectFry Plus, scorching is a thing of the past. The PerfectFry Plus
sensor displays and continuously monitors your pans temperature to
prevent scorching. Select from 11 predefined temperatures to suit your
dish, ranging from 70 to 220°C, for perfect results every time.
Making it simple to adjust cooking zones, even when
moving your cookware. Your hob detects the position and size of the pot
or pan, and automatically resizes the cookzone accordingly. If you move
your cookware to another position on your hob, the cookzone settings are
automatically transfered to the new postion, with just a quick
confirmation.
Now all you need to focus on is cooking your favourite
dish. Your matching hood is automatically controlled by your hob and a
connected Home Connect account. This is all thanks to an algorithm that
adjusts the power of your hood, based on your hob settings. Your kitchen
stays free of odours and vapour, and the hood stays free from finger
prints. Welcome to the easy way of cooking.
It can be stressful if your home appliances don’t work
the way they’re supposed to. Remote Diagnostics is here to help. Simply
call the Home Connect hotline and make an appointment for a remote
diagnosis of your connected appliance via the Internet. With your
permission, the Bosch customer service team can then remotely screen
your appliance, locate the problem area and give you the clear advice
you need. In the event that the problem can not be solved this way, a
Bosch service technician can be informed and come to your home to
resolve all the issues, equipped with all the necessary parts already in
hand.
Control the functions of your hood via your hob. Both
the electric hob and the associated hood are equipped with a Wi-Fi
module, enabling them to interact. As soon as your hob is activated,
your hood is also switched on and starts extracting steam as soon as you
start cooking. When you’re done cooking, the hood automatically
switches off after a brief run-on time, so you can be sure that
unpleasant kitchen odours really do disappear. If you want to control
the hood directly, just activate manual mode on the hob controls with
the touch of a button. You can then control your hood’s power levels via
the user interface on your hob. In addition to the extraction rate, you
can also control the hood lighting via the hob. With just one set of
controls, you control it all: your hob and your extractor hood.
When you want to get quick and easy meals on the table
even faster, PowerBoost can help. This practical feature adds a boost of
power for ultra-quick heating. Use it on your induction hob to boil
large quantities of water – and heat almost 35% faster compared to the
highest power level.
Sometimes things require your attention while cooking.
Now you can easily pause the heating and block all buttons on your hob.
Whether it is the doorbell or a phone call, or you just want to wipe up
any spills or splashes from the hob surface. Simply continue cooking in
the next ten minutes.
The QuickStart function detects where you have placed
the pot and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the
control interface. You can get started straight away and select the
desired cooking level for your pot without delay.
Have you ever unintendedly switched off your hob and all
settings were gone? With Restart the cooktop saves your previous
settings and restores them in case you switch your cooktop on again
within four seconds.
The handy ChildLock locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes in settings.
Induction hobs generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and more convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction hob brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic hob, which also saves a great deal of energy.
